Prerequisites

A knowledge of Spanish or Italian on a advanced level is required. The students will be informed of a possible insufficiency of their linguistic abilities.

Main themes

After a presentation of methodologies of teaching of Spanish and Italian, the course will continue with a careful analysis on practices of teaching of one or the other language.

Aims

To teach how to teach Spanish or Italian like foreign languages.

Evaluation methods

A written work is required following the teaching practice carried out by the students.

Content
The course offers a review of the history of didactic trends in teaching
the Spanish language as foreign language (ELE). He then systematically
addresses the various issues in the development of a didactic sequence in
the context of upper secondary education. The student is asked to teach a
sequence in a class of BAC11.
