Main themes The principal topics which will be broach are the followings: - individual, collective and organizational performance; - individual characteristics: values, personality, emotions, etc.; - power, authority, leadership and supervision; - running and efficiency of work groups; - group processes and conflicts management; - communication in organizations; - values, culture and organizational climate; - organizational change and development.
Aims This course aims at making the student sensitive to the human dimension of organizations management by teaching him/her the fundamentals concepts of the organizational behavior and by making sure he/she has understood the implications in terms of human resources management. At the end of this training activity, the student should have (a) a thorough knowledge of the different concepts, processes and methods related to the organizational behavior, (b) be able to set up the concepts, processes and methods in order to better understand and analyze various work environment, and (C) develop an analytical and critical approach of the organizational behavior.
Content Through ex-cathedra lectures, works and case study, the students will have to acquire the knowledge related to fundamentals concepts in organizational behavior and understand the management implications which are associated to. The course considers various levels of analysis: individual, group and organization
