Main themes Exercises on the construction and application of methods of observation in psychology and education (observation criteria tables and questionnaires) and on the descriptive treatment of the data collected.
Aims - To identify the objectives and constraints in an observation - To design and apply a table of criteria for observation - To assess the accuracy of the information collected - To design and apply a survey questionnaire - To draw up a table of the data collected and extract the main descriptive statistics (simple sort and cross sort).
Content - The design of a table of criteria for observation in context, for educational, clinical and research purposes - Observation practice and agreement between judges - Design of survey questionnaires - Treatment of observation data and questionnaires (design of a table of data and descriptive analysis) The course includes exercises on the use of methods of observation, the collection of data, coding and descriptive treatment.
Other information This course is given in coordination with the two courses from the same block : S Statistics 1 and Introduction to methods of psychological examination.
