Main themes - Transverse analyses of current international humanitarian problems. - The topics are worked out by the teacher staff at the beginning of the six-month period. - Example of topics chosen for the year 2005-2006: O Nutritional situation in the Darfur camps O Earthquake in Pakistan O Project of rehabilitation in South-Kivu
Aims To put the students in a situation where they would be asked to create and present a documentary portfolio on a specific humanitarian action issue in order to seek support from financial backers. The constitution of this portfolio aims at developing the student's abilities of research and synthesis.
Content Guest-speakers will present their expertise in the selected field. Tutorial session to supervise the requested assignments.
Other information To be part of the HUMA Master. A small working group essay to be presented orally and to be handed in written form References, presentations and other documents of the course will be available on icampus website. Teaching staff and actors on the Humanitarian Assistance stage.
