Aims |
To acquire the necessary surgical principles
- to study and understand the oral and maxillofacial diseases and their surgical therapies
- to exchange informations with the others surgical subspecialities
The student must be able to appreciate and evaluate the consequencies of his surgical oral operations on the health of his patient and to understand the influence of the patient's health on his oral surgical work

- Surgical agression : traumatology, wounds and contusions, healing, surgical basic techniques, hemodynamical, electrolytical dsysfunctions, hemostasis and coagulation
- Basic elements of general surgery, organ transplantation, grafts and burns,
- Infectiology and surgery
- Anesthesiology (sedation, general anesthesia, locoregional and local anesthesia; specialised technics in oral and maxillofacial diseases
- ex cathedra teaching, well illustrated : videos, slides

Head and Neck anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology.
Evaluation :
Written exam after the first semester
