Main themes Study, at empirical and theoretical level, the changes linked to the whole cycle of life, in one or several psychology fields, such as: - cognitive, intellectual functions; - affectivity, emotions; - morality, social life; - identity, personality, - reactions to major events; - relations between human development and institutions in charge of precise age group. This list is not exhaustive and may change in function of the knowledge acquired.
Aims Improve the knowledge in the field of psychological development in the whole life cycle, respecting the specificities of "life's ages": childhood, adolescence, adulthood and third-age. Evaluate and appreciate the contributions and limits of the presented theories. Bring out clinical and educative implications of this theoretical knowledge. This course aims more particularly at developing the competences of students, analyzing and observing an individual / a group / psycho-educative situation on the field, critical or not. It is thus about observing with regards to these theories and questionings and analyze with regards to lecture grids based on theories.
Content The content of the course, going into a theoretical thematic in the field of development based on empirical researches, may change from year to year. Active approach with ex-cathedra lectures, text discussions and researches results.
Other information Pre-required: a basis course in human development psychology. Support: a reading portfolio of a hundred pages will be the principal support of the course. Evaluation: a fifteen pages work, active participation to works in group during the course, exam.
