Main themes The basic concepts of differential geometry will be presented and illustrated by examples and applications.
Aims The course is an introduction to the basic concepts of differential geometry : manifolds, tangent spaces, vector fields, differentiable maps. The ability of the student to use the concepts and to visualize geometrically the situations will be important.
