Main themes Language development problems : delay in speaking, delay in language, dysphasia, stammering. Problems and interventions in the oro-facial area : orthodontics, dyslalia, tubal rehabilitation, rhinophony.
Aims By the end of the course, students will be familiar with the main problems in language development. They will be able to identify and differentiate them, and be familiar with the etiological hypotheses. They will be able to adopt a critical stance towards the expert literature and be familiar with the main rehabilitation and remediation therapies currently in use.
Content - Problems and treatments of oro-facial pathologies affecting correct position of intrabuccal points (8 hours): orthodontics, tubal therapy, rhinolalia . - Articulatory and phonological problems and treatment (10 hours). Dysphasias and simple delays in language (25 hours), from dyspraxic, linguistic, metalinguistic, cognitive and socio-affective perspectives. - Pragmatic problems :stammering in adults and children (12 hours). - Checking effectiveness of therapy in all these pathologies (5 hours).
