Main themes Introduction to recent Italian history, culture and society. The student is encouraged to interact and communicate, to analyze and understand written and audiovisual documents and to write texts. This course is intended for students who have started FLTR1750 and are following ROM1751. It prepares the student to follow ROM1753, ROM1544 and ROM1541.
Aims - Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to Italian history, society and culture; - Develop writing and oral production skills; - Understand recent developments in Italian history, culture and society.

Content This course encourages students to express their ideas and opinions on a precise subject concerning recent Italian history. Oral and written production is stimulated, as well as the development of lexical, syntactical competence. Videos and movies will develop comprehension skills. The students will work in small groups.
