Main themes	This course requires a personal commitment from students (especially as regards attendance at lectures) and active participation in setting the agenda for course meetings.
Aims	Using texts to be determined (published or unpublished) the course will consider case studies related to cultural and religious history (a. Ancient Period [3 cr.] ; b. Middle Ages [3 cr]), interpreting these texts in the light of current tendencies in historiography, and attempting to implement various methods both experimental and of long standing.
