Main themes - Reading and philological interpretation of Biblical and hagiographic texts, taken from the Chrestomathy by Chaîne. - For second-year studies (who did attend the alternating course GLOR 2741): thorough analysis of grammatical, especially syntactic problems (preparation of a personal paper); study of various texts, either taken from critical editions or from copies of original manuscripts.
Aims Classical Ethiopic (Geez). Learning of the writing system; grammatical introduction.
