Main themes The course will start by a presentation of the main disciplinary approaches to globalization. Then it will focus on a set of key issues such as: - Actors' strategies (individuals, group and international organizations) - Interaction between socio-political and natural systems - Sharing of resources and conflicts between global and local actors - Articulation between resources reproductive system and social systems - Social fragmentation and exclusion at national level - Infra and inter national inequalities - Social capital, Human capital and impoverishment.
Aims The objective is to provide to the student the analytical tools for a better understanding of developement issues from an interdisciplinary perspective and by emphasizing the spatial and time dimensions. The objective is to provide a better understanding of the evolution of contemporary societies from the perspective of these two dimensions.
