Main themes During and after key lectures given by guest specialists about Prehistory, Protohistory, Gallo-Roman Antiquity and Middle Ages, the seminar discusses problematic issues and specific problems of interpretation in relation with the use of archaeological sources for the reconstruction of the ancient societies, their economy and land occupation. Application of theoretical concepts in archaeological interpretation.
Aims Advanced seminar for archaeologists specialising in North-West european archaeology. The aim is to develop a critical sense and analytical methods of material culture.
