- Apply pain control techniques during dental care and tooth extraction, taking into account the child's anatomical and psychological specificities.
- Compensate for premature tooth loss in children and adolescents, and evaluate and prevent consequences for the growth and harmony of dental arches.
- Manage dental traumatisms in children and adolescents, as well as their consequences in the short-, medium-, and long-term.

Content
The course evaluates the psychological and physiological particularities inherent to the general treatment of children and adolescents. The prevention, interception, and early treatment of dental conditions must harmonize with the child's growth and development conditions.
Traumatology, the rehabilitation of young toothless patients, the struggle against multiple caries in young children, and the specificities of temporary, mixed, and young permanent teeth should lead to adapted therapeutic decisions that differ from those used in adults.
Methods
Lectures, with active student participation and clinical case presentation
