2010-2011
Whether Judaism is taken from a historical, cultural, religious or political point of view, it still appears as a complex and plural reality. Rather than introducing Judaism as a singular entity, the course will try to give an account of its diversity in the course of history, in the life of communities, in the expression of its beliefs and in the variety of the scriptural hermeneutics upon which Judaism is founded. The question of Judaism vs Chrisitanity will complete our approach.
