Provide each student or scholar interested in Asia Minor or Syria with the necessary philological background.

Content |
Study of Luwian (daughter language of Hittite) and introduction to the Asianic languages : Hatti, Carian, Pisidian. Philologic analysis of several inscriptions.

Other information |
Prerequisite : knowledge of Hittite.
Evaluation : oral exam and home preparation of a text not seen at the course.
Texts and books : photocopied notes will be handed out to the students.
