Main themes |
The 50-hour training period is divided in three parts:
1. Classroom observation and analysis of pedagogical practices (10h): the aim is to push the student to project himself being in charge of the class by meeting his future pupils and training supervisor.
2. Teaching practice (40h) : the aim is to allow the future teacher to experience the different points approached in the theoretical courses under the guidance of training supervisors registered by the UCL.
3. Presentation of report lessons.

Aims |
At the end of the training period, the student will have proved his capacity to:
- design, plan and teach philosophy classes in upper secondary education,
- think about his teaching practice and regulate it,
- adapt to different professional situations in different school environments by interacting with training supervisors.

Content |
The training periods consist of 40h of teaching and 10h of classroom observation. During each training period, the student will be taken care of by a training supervisor chosen by the head of training.
The student chooses his training supervisors in the list of training supervisors registered by the UCL. He agrees with them on the modalities of the classroom observation and the active lessons.
