Write a scientific paper on a precisely delimited research topic that is germane to the topic of the seminar ;
Participate actively in cooperative research on practical philosophy, especially through discussion of contributions made within the framework of the seminar ;

Evaluation methods |
Oral examination at the end of the year and an oral presentation at the seminar during the second semester

Content |
Ethics of the future (what does the principle of responsibility mean where, strictly speaking, there is no danger in the way that Jonas defined it?) transhumanist values (Nick Bostrom), extending the human community to non-humans (cyborgs, android robots etc.), the abolition of finitude, moral imagination, ideals of autonomy and perfection, human plasticity and what may limit it morally.
