The course aims to teach the basics of the Turkish language : reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. On completion of the course, students should be able to read, understand, write and speak about familiar subjects and simple situations of everyday life.

students of all faculties who want to put the course in their programme or take it as free students. Also accessible to students from outside the university;

The objective of the course is to introduce the student to grammar and vocabulary, reading and writing of the Turkish language. At the end of the 90 hours, the students is able to express himself in elementary Turkish, as well as to read, write and understand it.
The aim of the practical exercises is to read simple texts, understand frequently used vocabulary around familiar situations and everyday life. The student must be able to present himself and write simple sentences.
Evaluation is based on continuous assessment and a final written and oral exam.
