First Part
- use adequately the projective method and propose an elementary interpretation of the results;
- find out the relevant elements in the bibliography and evaluate the right impact of the original data by the method.
Second part
- go further into and diversify the grids and procedures of analysis and interpretation;
- establish links between these instrumented observations and the clinical problem into question;
- appreciate the diagnostic value and the clinical validity of the method in psychpathology
Main themes
First part
The specificities of the instrument among the projective methods and the particularities of its use according to the age of the beneficiary. Principles and fundamentals of its use for research and/or clinical practice (from diagnostic to therapeutic mediation). Transfer techniques and required conditions system.
Understanding of the different psychic processes (inter and intrapersonal) intervening in and by the instrument utilization; analysis of the various modalities according to which these processes are subject to intervene in the production of answers, study of the possible forms of (un)dialectization of these processes.
Second part
Examination of the different hermeneutics and reading methods, from the angle of their principles and impact, and their confrontation. Evaluation of the diagnostic capacities of the instrument putting to the reciprocal test psychopathological functioning and their testologic signs tables.
Analysis of the forms and figures of psychism and its "pathos" from their translation to Rorschach test.
Content and teaching methods
1) content
First part:
Theoretical and clinical approach required by the instrument from the practitioner and the mechanisms involved by the transfer from the tested subject
The technical rules and the relational conditions of practice. The system of rating, deconstruction, and interpretation of the answers.
Second part:
Principles and models characteristic of each analysis method as well as the articulations between themselves. The chosen register of the pathology to put to the test the diagnostic capacity of the instrument as well as the knowledge and conceptions related to the nature of the disorders will change from year to year.
2) method
Ex-cathedra lectures with recourses to clinical illustrations.
First part: individual training to transfer and analysis with regards to the subject seen during the course. Supervision is offered.
Second part: case analysis by group, communication and discussion with the whole audience.
Other information (prerequisite, evaluation (assessment methods), course materials recommended readings, ...)
Evaluation: written exam with open books on the analysis of a test protocol and oral examination on the subject.
Support: partial syllabus and readings portfolio
