To introduce students to the analysis and description of institutions in the field of clinical psychology
Main themes
With the three theoretical courses from the module Well-being and health, group exercises led by an assistant on :
- case analyses (and how to proceed with diagnosis, the interview and the psychological support) based on written or audio-visual documents, fictitious or real, in order to establish key psychological distinctions and points in psychopathology (individual, couple or family) ;
- description and analysis of organizations and the working of institutions in the field of clinical psychology relating to the kinds of problems treated and treatments available.
For the neuropsychology courses :
- introduction to anamnesis and interview in clinical neuropsychology in the field of focal and diffuse brain lesions ;
- introduction to the practice of the major tests and appraisal scales used in the field of adult neuropsychology ;
- integrated case analysis based on videos, medical and neuropsychological records, in an attempt to interpret the deficits.
For the section on health psychology :
- analysis of clinical situations in line with elements of the bio-psycho-social model ;
- intervention procedures ;
- self-administered intervention techniques in the field of health (e.g. relaxation, mental imagery, cognitive restructuring, empathetic listening).

These exercises are led by assistants. They include audio-visual documents and additional audio material to present clinical cases and situations similar to those that students may encounter in professional practice. The exercises are designed to make practical use of the concepts and methods covered in the theoretical courses of the Well-being and health module.
