- General Psychology teachings are an integrated body of subjects and essentially aim at offering the students a systematic presentation of the basic knowledges in Psychology. By dealing with the main fields of the research linked to the development of these knowledges, these teachings also aim to initiate the students to the study of the basic behavioural processes through scientific methods.
Main themes
In each of the fields considered, the teachings are conceived such as to provide the basic knowledges which will support the following teachings. The history of the basic knowledges will be shortly traced and they will be presented according to various points of view (developmental, differential, comparative, clinic, experimental, applied) allowing the students to integrate them in a coherent whole. These basic knowledges will be illustrated to show their usefulness and their applicability in various fields of psychological intervention.
