At the end of this course, the student will be able to use and to criticize the multiple sources of information in general medicine and will be sensitized with the research and the quality of care in this field.

Introduction and use of reading scientific and medical references, based on the EBM (evidence based medicine);
Approach to criticize different sources of documentation in general medicine;
Recommendations of good practice (guidelines): definition, sources, use in practice, limitations;
Seek: introduction to the methodology and comprehension of research scientific medical references;
Introduction to the concept of quality of care and application in practice.
Content and teaching methods
Methodology
The various subjects will be tackled into interactive workshops. For their practical application, the students will be divided into groups. Each group will study a topic of general medicine by seeking the relevant data sources on the subject. At the end of the course, the group will be invited to present their finds and most useful references for their practice.
