- Medical equipment, prosthesis and implants used in Anesthesiology (ventilation, perfusion, extra-corporeal circulation ), in Invasive Radiology (catheters, embolisation material ), in Nephrology (dialysis, renal replacement therapy), in Urology (urinary cathters ), in Neurosurgery (drainage, replacement material ), in Cardiac surgery (various types of cardiac valves ), in plastic Surgery (reconstructive surgery ) and Intensive Care Medicine (ventilation, haemodynamic monitoring )

- The assessment is based on a written examination that mixes open questions and answers and multiple choice questions. Each co-titular is taking part in the elaboration and correction of the questions.
- As the course is mainly dedicated to the presentation, description and the operation of prosthesis, implants and biomaterial, the attendance to the lessons for material visualisation is warmly recommanded.
