This course will enable the student to delimit the European economic reality and to be critical of the main European economic policies.
Main themes
Each chapter begins with a presentation of the economic structures of the Union members', the candidate countries and the main trading partners. It will then review some basic economic theories and underscore the existing link between the economic structures of the members and the policy choices made at the European level.
Content and teaching methods
This course provides the tools to understand what is at stake in the European markets integration and the setting up of common policies.
