Ability to identify relevant arguments, to write scientific essays and to present and defend them
Main themes
The course starts with an overall presentation of the selected topic by the teachers and a list of proposed issues that could be handled by the students
Students write a report which is, at the end of the course, presented to the audience, commented by a referee and followed by a general discussion.
Content and teaching methods
Teaching method : based on a combination of individual and collective learning
- Individual : Writing of essays based on a law and economic approach of the topic
- Collective : Based on the oral presentation of these essays , the organised discussion allowing the student to deepen his understanding of the specificities of an interdisciplinary approach

Basic knowledge of European microeconomic Policies (trade, competition and industry) and intermediate microeconomics course
50% based on active participation in class discussions and 50% based on written contri-butions and their oral presentation
