Aims

The student must be able :
- to describe and diagnose all perioral cutaneous and oral mucosal lesions
- to describe and diagnose all osseous maxillary and mandibular lesions, all TMJ lesions, all salivary glands diseases, all cervical lumps
- to diagnose and differentiate all orofacial pain syndroms
- to treat the most frequent of all these diseases

Main themes

- Diagnosis and treatment of all mucosal lesions, benign and malignant tumoral, inflammatory, infectious
- Diagnosis of cervical adenopathies
- Diagnosis of principal cutaneous perioral and facial lesions
- Diagnosis and treatment of all osseous maxillary and mandibular diseases, all TMJ and salivary glands diseases
- Differential diagnosis and treatment of orofacial pain syndromes
- Pathological description must be konw for the most frequent lesions

Content and teaching methods

systematic description of oral mucosa, peiroral cutaneous, osseous maxillary and mandibular, TMJ, salivary glands and cervical diseases : etiopathogeny, epidemiology, clinical and radiological symptoms, pathology, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, prognosis and treatment

Evaluation : written exam at the end of the first semester by OSCQ
