Aims

Be able to write an academic text of a dozen pages suitable for presentation to an academic journal, which supposes being capable at once: - of mastering the rhetoric particular to this type of writing ; - of synthesizing the state of the question treated and making a critical analysis of it.

Main themes

This seminar will be comprised of 5 working meetings in small groups. It will deal with the epistemological, methodological and editorial requirements to be satisfied in the context of academic articles.

Content and teaching methods

The seminar involves advanced students the presenting phases their work to one another and hearing the suggestions for improvement which will be made to them by the teacher responsible for their research as well as by other participants.

Evalutation : the text written at the end of this activity will be evaluated by two teachers of the research unit concerned according to standards specified at the outset.
Supports : the student will have model articles as well as a methodological vade mecum relating to the development and drafting of an academic work.
Accompaniment : each work will be guided by permanent members of the research unit chosen by the student.
