At the end, the student shall be able to put into perspective the evolution of the modes of State regulation of religions in modern societies.
Main themes
In order to achieve this aim, the course will
- consider all religions from the perspective of law, history, philosophy and theology
- attempt a comparative study of the main European juridical systems
- put forward a broader reflection on the relations between the legal State and religions from the point of view of each relevant system, in the field of both private ethical questions and public policies.
