- To allow students to follow a conversation or a presentation;
- to be able to express oneself correctly in normal circumstances;
- to understand advanced level texts after a quick reading;
- to be able to write a brief scientific text;
- presentation of 20th century literature and culture through reading and analysis of short texts.
Main themes
- Broadening of vocabulary, continuation and deepening of the study of morpho-syntax;
- memorisation of dialogues, structural exercises;
- reading of 20th century short stories, from important writers;
- exercises in oral and written comprehension and expression;
- tutorials in small groups where special attention is paid to the development of personal expression.
Content and teaching methods
In the first semester, students will strengthen their syntactic and idiomatic skills during tutorials. During the course, students will read texts and broaden their vocabulary and oral and written communication skills. In the second semester, students will work on projects to be determined.
