To provide students with the opportunity for progressive practice in the management of learning situations
To provide students with the opportunity to work on the difficulties they may have encountered during their first teaching practice
Main themes
All students take part (as a student, teacher or observer) in short exercises (10 to15 minutes) for a small group of students based on acquiring target teaching skills (e.g. introducing the topic of a lesson and sensitizing students to it, using language effectively, using non-verbal language, checking understanding through questions, stimulating and controlling exchanges, clarifying concepts with examples, using visual aids such as tables and posters etc.). These sequences are recorded on video to encourage self-observation and self-assessment.
