This course is designed to prepare students for the practical use of different research procedures in scientific psychology : issues of data collection and description ; problems of correlative and experimental procedures, problems of laboratory and clinical experimentation.
Main themes
A detailed manual serves as a basic reference for this course. Students form small groups, select a topic for investigation and carry out practical research exercises on their chosen topic : this enables them to find out what the difficulties are. The course itself is a series of lectures and sessions doing exercises and questions and answers. The working groups are supervised by the lecturer in charge and the assistants.
