The student will:
acquire central concepts of applied and theoretical linguistics;
develop knowledge of using different medias in teaching German linguistics;
develop the ability to develp didactic concepts in order to transfer knowledge of German linguistics.

Methodological problems of teaching German linguistics / creative teaching methods; Usage of video(s)/computer(s) in teaching; etc.
Content and teaching methods
Development of teaching goals with respect to German linguistics, i.e., with respect to German grammar (phonetics/phonology, syntax, morphology, semantics). Using different medias in teaching linguistics. The course requires the student's active participation in discussions, in reading scientific texts. Furthermore, every student has to give a short presentation (or to write an essay) on "methodological problems of teaching German linguistics."

Presentation of one of the topics of the course (with discussion) and a written exam.
