Aims

To be able:
to take an active part in the activities of the international scientific community in the field of research in which the student is involved
to write a critical account of this activity

Main themes

Take part in an international scientific meeting (congress, conference, study days) lasting two to three days or spend two or three weeks in a research laboratory at another Belgian university or at a foreign university; write a critical account of this activity of 15 pages (or 30,000 characters).

Evaluation: the report produced at the end of this activity will be assessed by two teachers from the relevant research unit in line with pre-established required standards
Support: model reports will be available to students, as will a methodological reference guide regarding the planning and writing of a scientific study
Supervision: each study will be supervised by full-time members of the student's chosen research unit.
