Enable students to (i) analyse the diversity of actors and logics of action in development and/or environment practice and politics, (ii) see the academic relevance of an interdisciplinary approach that integrates social and natural science and (iii) see the need to articulate in a systemic perspective local and global areas.

The final evaluation consists of two parts : the active participation to the course (i.e. at-tendance, tasks and roles taken as well as the documents prepared) and an individual contribution at the end of the course.
The course will be based on a set of readings that will be discussed in the course as well as the presentation of research and field experience by professors, students and guests.
