At the end of the course, the students will be able to contribute to the design and the evaluation of devices or teaching and training schemes of French, as well in the structures of the French Community as in countries where French is taught like second or foreign language, according to the orientation of the linguistic policy of the concerned countries/areas.
These devices or programs will be intended to students or to trainers.
Main themes
The course will be structured in four phases:
- analysis of the linguistic needs and the demand for training;
- the definition of the objectives to be reached by actions, devices, and/or training linguistic schemes, taking into account the analysis of the needs, the demand and the institutional constraints; - the design of actions, devices and/or programs for the teaching of French;
-the evaluation of these actions, devices and programs according to criteria of effectiveness, efficiency, equity, balance and engagement.
Content and teaching methods
A first part of the course will be devoted to theoretical frameworks concerning the four phases or the course and to a presentation of the bibliography. After a methodological introduction, the students will be then brought to take part in an research-action carrying, as far as possible, on real demands for linguistic training.
