Using texts to be determined (published or unpublished) the course will consider case studies related to cultural and religious history (a. Ancient Period [3 cr.] ; b. Middle Ages [3 cr]), interpreting these texts in the light of current tendencies in historiography, and attempting to implement various methods both experimental and of long standing.
Main themes
This course requires a personal commitment from students (especially as regards attendance at lectures) and active participation in setting the agenda for course meetings.
