The course deals with the great intellectual debates of Classical Islam, in the global perspective of the transmission of knowledge from Classical Antiquity to Latin Middle Ages. It is illustrated with the reading of texts from the classical period quoted in translation. No knowledge of Arabic is required. The course provides E-learning activities, with compulsory registration on the I-campus platform.
