Aims

A methodological reflection on specific issues in Latin linguistics.

Main themes

Study of one or more specific problems in the synchronic functioning and/or historical development of the Latin language (syntactic analysis, aspects of word formation, phonological and stylistic problems, etc.), related to current linguistic research.

Content and teaching methods

Study of one or more specific problems in Latin linguistics, from both a synchronic and diachronic point of view.

Prerequisite : full curriculum in Latin language (BA-level).
Evaluation : oral + written examination (presentation of a personal paper related to the course).
