Aims

At the end of the course the successful student will be able to understand how science works and to apply this knowledge to the preparation of a thesis in physical education.

Main themes

The following topics will be studied: the scientific method, accessing the scientific literature online, critical review of the literature, scientific writing. A class exercise will be performed in order to illustrate the process of creating a thesis.
