Aims
Main themes
- construction materials of monuments, objects and works of art in museums;
- concepts of restoration;
- guidelines for restoration;
- preventative conservation.
Content and teaching methods
- security of the public and museum collections;
- specific problems related to conservation;
- deontology;
- museum reserves.
Style of teaching:
-lectures to enhance understanding of the role of the conservation specialist, alternating with visits to museum restoration laboratories.
