Culture
Encouraging an awareness of the culture of German speaking countries takes place via all the skills
Methodology (main topics)
- The course is based on different topics (travel, living, publicity, money, internet,...).
- Students will work with authentic documents(for reading and listening).
- Vocabulary and grammatical structures will be practiced, consolidated and developed by means of written and
oral exercises (role plays, interviews, discussion in small groups of 2 or 4)

ALLE 1330- German, intermediate level (part one)
- 2h per week during one term
- Course for ECGE 11 BA, COMU 11, SOCA 11, HUSO 11 - 3 ECTS
Prerequisites: level A2 of the CEFR
Objectives: level B1 of the CEFR (speaking, reading and listening), level A2 (writing)
Methods and content:
- extension and consolidation of vocabulary and grammar structures
- listening and reading exercises
- oral exercises (individual and interactive)
- written exercises
- activities and texts on general subjects and subjects related to the field of study
Evaluation: autoevaluative tests, written and oral exam

Prerequisites
Minimum level: the student must have reached: A2 of the " Common European Framework of Reference of Languages "Admission to this course depends on the placement test that will be organized at the beginning of the year. Students who succeed in this test can have credits for this course in Bac 2
- Different sessions about everyday topics (money, Internet, phone conversation) which are introduced by a short
text, followed by the revision of a grammatical structure and a discussion or a role play.
- A broadcast will help the students to enlarge their vocabulary and finally, the session ends with a written
production in order to apply actively the material covered in this session.
- Small auto-evaluation tests (of vocabulary and grammar) will be organized during the year
