Cet article étudie l’argumentum ad hominem dans les œuvres d’Isée. Il a pour but d’abord de contribuer à l’étude et à une compréhension plus profonde de l’emploi de l’argument ad hominem comme moyen de persuasion et ensuite de démontrer l’art d’un orateur sous-estimé de la période classique en relation avec l’utilisation de ce type particulier d’argument dans ses œuvres.

Abstract:
This paper examines the argumentum ad hominem in the works of Isaeus, aiming firstly at contributing to the study and deeper understanding of the employment of the ad hominem argument as an effective means of persuasion, and secondly at demonstrating the skill of a widely underestimated orator of the classical period with respect to the use of this particular type of argument in his works.
