Abstract:
Louis Robert in France, G.E. Bean from England, and Louis Deroy of Belgium have delivered the collective slap to the rear which has brought Carian to life. Carian is still a bunding infant whose utterances are far from clear. But it is at last alive, and begins to creep forward. It offers features which suggest an Indo-European parentage, but this remains to be made sure of.
