Pulmonary capillaritis, pauci-immune

Rare. It is a vascularitis involving the small vessels and  limited to the lung; its only manifestation is alveolar hemorrhage in patients aged 18 to 35 years. It is a possible cause of idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis  (see this term) in children.

Diagnosis: pulmonary biopsy.
