Oromandibular-shortening of the limbs syndrome

Group of syndromes with an hypoglossia or aglossia associated with anomalies of the limbs.
Hall's classification:
- type I: isolated hypoglossia or aglossia
- type II: hypoglossia with hypomelia-hypodactyly
- type III: glosso-palatine ankylosis with hypoglossia or hypoglossia/hypodactyly
- type IV: intraoral bands with hypoglossia or aglossia
- type V: Hanhart syndrome, amniotic bands (see these terms)
Anesthetic implications:
Difficult intubation and peripheral venous access in case of limbs involvement
