|
Very rare. Clinical picture of superficial thrombophlebitis at the level of the thoraco-abdominal wall, generally in the post-operative period (a few weeks) of breast surgery. Painful pathology generally self-limiting in a few days or weeks.
Pediatric cases have been reported. The vascular hypothesis is currently called into question: lymphangitis or lymphatic obstruction or cicatricial retraction of an aponeurotic plan?
Anesthetic implications:
sepsis ? other sites of thrombosis ? thrombophilia ?
