Religious group, originating from the schism between the Anabaptistes, that emigrated to the United States of America in the 17th and 18th centuries, after the protestant Reform. Their number is estimated at ± 1,5 million in the USA.They owe their name to their founder Menno Simmons and live in small communities of 100 to 200 members. They refuse most of the technological advances but they are less strict than the Amish community.
