Malacoplakia

Very rare.  Inflammatory granulomatous pathology related to infection by coliforms germs  (mostly in the digstive tract in children and in the urinary tract in adults) in the context of a disorder of cellular immunity. The lesion presents as a soft, yellowish plate. The diagnosis is made at the anatomo-pathological examination: histiocytes 'in target' or shaped as bird's beak with Michaelis and Guetmann basophilic bodies.

Treatment: antibiotics, and cholinergic in cas of bladderinvolvement
