Lithopedion

Very rare: 0.005 % of all pregnancies. This is a possible consequence of 1.5 to 2 % of extrauterine pregnancies. Lithopedion literally  means " stone child ', from the Greek lithos, "stone", and pais , paidós, 'child'. Presence of a calcified dead fetus  in the abdominal cavity. The cause is either primary (beginning of an intrabdominal pregnancy) or secondary (secondary abdominal implantation after a tubal abortion or an intrauterine pregnancy).
